In a coffee shop and these two old ladies are complaining about self-driving cars because “they run over animals all the time.”
I don’t think they saw the Roadster demo yet.
Easily the coolest thing I’ve ever seen a car do!!! Now this is impressive! I gotta learn more about the actual practicality of it… how can this be on the road?!? @elonmusk@Tesla
In my early 20s I had a boss who was the stereotypical Asian mom. Hard on everyone, very high standards, expected perfection at all times.
But deep down she loved every single person she hired and went out of her way to care for them both personally and professionally.
It’s crucial to the plot to have a good boss who is also a little insane in your early 20s. The character development is unreal. My first boss taught me everything I know about “work”. Very much instilled a “whatever it takes” mentality which I have applied across every aspect of my life. You’re not done at 5, you’re done when you’re done. (This is the only way I’ve been able to start my own businesses/work for myself. You do what needs to be done. There is no other way.)
And it’s not about the “work” it’s about how you show up. On time. With a good attitude. Ready to rock. You put your ego aside. (You’re never too good for any job.) Yeah you might be steaming clothes (did a lot of this in my early days) but you better believe those clothes won’t have a single wrinkle on them come photoshoot time.
You either got that dog in you or you don’t.
“You know what this pumpkin would taste great in? Some coffee!”
said no one ever, and yet the devil still convinced people it was the greatest thing ever
