WhiteFiber posted a video about their NC-1 campus showing the progress in their construction development. In this free Substack article I describe what I saw in the video and what I think is needed to complete the data center fit out, with the time involved. This article will also describe the data center design in general and the function of each component sitting within. @3Plantey2 The 10Q states 41.6m was paid, and 49m was drawn. Note 18 - Subsequent events. " At the time of closing the company borrowed approximately 49m under the credit facility".
@3Plantey2 Annual divis of remaining pref A shares is 2.15m annually. The current creitt facility has 49m drawn. Assuming SOFR +300bps gets you to about 3.3m. so together 5.5m
@3Plantey2 I think the real bear case comes from Athenahealth and their first mover advantage in AI, on top of deeper pockets assisting continuation of innovation.
This is a long term risk though. For now there are plenty of acquisition targets for both, so they can co-exist.
Two orders secured for $EOS.AX with potentially more pipeline strength in the Middle East as regional tensions continue to drive demand for counter-drone capabilities.
For people not familiar with investing in defense contracts, don’t misinterpret the smaller contract value of the U.S. order. In defense procurement, it signs the beginning of a process where systems are first integrated through some smaller initial orders or test deployments. Once the platform is fully validated operationally and the customer gains confidence in the integration and the technology, it then typically scales through follow-on orders and broader program integration. Also, the fact that EOS again, next to the Abrams X tank program, is supplying a product to a large established U.S. defense contractor says a lot about the company’s positioning and the credibility of its product portfolio within the full defense ecosystem. EOS management is executing real good for the past year.👌
@AlmostMongolian I agree it looks strange, but it has a 12 month time window. It doesn't necessarily mean they are planning to use all proceeds from the 4,05CAD raise to buy the shares back now.
Super stoked on the launch, which will probably be in the half of March. You can comment if you would like to be updated!
It’s just crazy what we have been building through the past couple of months with the team to expand our services and depth into Substack and on our platform.
It really itches to announce the new partners we added to the team each bringing different specialties across sectors so we can surface the most high-conviction picks we can find across the market.
I genuinely think the X and Substack space are ready for a fresh breath of air. And with that I mean something very specific: combining specialized expertise into one integrated platform that acts as a true one-stop shop across multiple sectors. That, in my view, is very differentiating versus the currently saturated Substack market. Imagine bringing bright minds together in their domain AI, SaaS, nuclear, special sits, whatever and packaging that in a way that is fully retail friendly.
We're going to bring you picks, but also deep researches, like the HBM work I'm currently building, the AI Energy Bottleneck research we launched in October, and much more to come on areas where you can actually find an edge. Because ultimately, understanding the structure of a market is just as important as the pick itself.
One of the new concepts we’re introducing is Ones to Watch. These are companies high on our watch list that are not fully thesis-ready yet, but are getting close. Instead of forcing binary thinking (pick vs. no pick), we want to map the progression properly through thesis opportunity, key signals, and what to watch. I think this will be a very strong addition to the current AAIG framework.
Also very excited that we found the right branding partner to build alongside us. I’m really loving the new visuals and branding we’re currently implementing within AAIG. I can definitely be a perfectionist so next to high-conviction research, the presentation needs to match the quality.😅
Can’t wait to share more when we officially launch!
@gillani_rahil How much of the growth do you think is due to the tailwind from Canadians buying local, and sort of boycotting American wines and spirits.
This might be something that will switch back in the coming years.
@ragingbullcap FYI their growing facility got robbed 4 times in the last year. Pretty much no security on prem. Also, people living in the nearby town are trying to get rid of the facility due to door nuisance.
Its been on the Dutch news a couple of times.
