This is so important for leaders and teachers. On a tough day find the good things, be grateful for them and talk about them. Often in my coaching this comes up. As hard as it may be create that positive mindset by doing things like this.
The pressure of impending Ofsted is like nothing else.
Since our inspection I sleep better, eat better and spend less money on ‘things’ to try boost my mood. My relationship with family is better. My heart rate is lower.
The mental, and physical, toll is huge.
Time for change.

@Headteacherchat It is tricky, you have to find something that works for you. Setting up clear boundaries with your time and work and sharing them with others will help. It will also change at certain push points in the year. Chat through with fellow heads they are a fountain of ideas.
