On Friday 14th February @doge_eth_gov was suspended after capturing a lot of attention from a post that went viral. As we all know, attention brings a mixed bag of opinions and as far as I am aware X does not look into who is making the reports before a suspension decision is made — understandable due to the amount of reports that they would receive.

A quick backstory for those that don't know. Over the last 6 months, the CTO team (myself included) and it's loyal community have put a lot of energy, time and passion into building DogeGov. We have supported Elon Musk and DOGE from the very beginning when the D.O.G.E 'I am willing to support' meme was born, so the recent suspension of the X account has been painful to say the least.

Here are some reasons why @doge_eth_gov should be reinstated asap:

1. DogeGov has legitimate entity representation backed by a registered United States private limited company (LLC), it isn’t just a random troll account — it’s a legal business with accountability. We have always complied with X’s rules and have never made an attempt to deceive users about its status relative to the actual DOGE organisation.

2. We believe in Free Speech and Innovation and restoring it aligns with X’s ethos of prioritising free expression and experimentation. It's funny, edgy, and innovative and even Elon Musk himself has reposted a few of DogeGovs post. All its suspension is doing is stifling creativity and progression.

3. Risk of Misrepresentation: Even with an LLC, we have been careful and have done our best to not mislead people into thinking it’s tied to the DOGE organisation or the U.S. government. We ensured that there were legal disclaimers on the site as well as large, clear headlines that users would see as soon as they landed on the home page and the website page title is 'DogeGov Memecoin' so that their was no confusion for those finding it through search engines. The X account bio also clearly stated that this was not affiliated with DOGE.

4. Currently our holders and potential investors have been left in the dark and this is causing a negative impact as this X account was our main source of communication to our community.

5. We want to continue spreading the good work of the DOGE. We're a crypto project with a clever hook and strong narrative — let DogeGov free, let it live and let the market sort out its worth.
