"directed by David Ayer" and Dog co-star? Nah I'm good. I know what Ayers films are like and I don't need to see that shit with a dog until I know the Yes or No answer
First look at Brad Pitt in David Ayer’s survival thriller ‘HEART OF THE BEAST’
• In theaters September 25
• Produced by Damien Chazelle and co-starring J.K. Simmons
@currentlysneeds@AJAlkaline@DMichaelTripi I see. You're uncomfortable with the world you grew up with/thought you lived in naturally changing. I hope you find grace and peace with it eventually, I truly do. Life is too short to be filled with hate because a country isn't 'pure'.
@currentlysneeds@AJAlkaline@DMichaelTripi if the government gets the power to do this unchallenged, it's putting a gun on the table. You might trust the person at the table right now but what happens in 4,8 years when you don't and they can pick that gun up and use it?
I'm finally reading Dune. This quote, which is in the first few pages, hits hard:
"Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them."
Scott Pelley responds to Trump saying he doesn’t care about the country: “I’ve never worn the uniform, but I’ve been in combat for this country. In Afghanistan, and Iraq, Kuwait. Been shot at. Spent nights in foxholes filling up with water in the desert. I’m not aware that the president has ever done any of those things for his country. You become a journalist because you love the First Amendment, you love the country. While all the other descriptions the president used about me might be applicable, not that one”
Avengers: Age of Ultron has a deleted scene where Captain America arrives in Sokovia and sees graffiti of himself with the word "Fascist" written across his helmet
He throws it back in the jet
The Sokovians saw the Avengers as a foreign military force entering their country without permission. Cap understood that. He removed his helmet to show his face. A soldier, not a symbol.
Marvel cut it. Civil War makes so much more sense with this scene.
giving the world cup to the usa was a stupid decision.
this tournament was supposed to bring the world together. instead we’re talking about shootings, visa issues, travel restrictions and whether fans from certain countries will even be able to attend
After more than a decade of legal hell, betrayals, and silence, Patrice Désilets (the mastermind behind Assassin's Creed) finally got to re-reveal 1666: Amsterdam. If you don't know why this is a historic miracle, buckle up 🧵
