Cautionary tale for Americans:
"British voters, this supposition runs, want housing to become more affordable for the young and for the existing housing stock to retain its value; they want taxes to stop rising and for more money to be spent on the health service, on pensions, and on care for the elderly; they want the price of energy to go down and to achieve “Net Zero”; they want Britain to start inventing things again and for their island to retain its sprawling archipelago of regulations; they want to be welcoming and “diverse” and to acknowledge that the country’s infrastructure is already bulging at the seams."
Keir Starmer was an awful prime minister. But the core problem isn't him or the "system"; it's the British public, which refuses to correct course despite their demands having yielded disastrous results for nearly two decades. https://t.co/NhPXejkzwG

@NRO@RepKeithSelf@MarkCMontgomery wait, wait, wait...you're not seriously suggesting that the "North ATLANTIC Treaty Organization" is going to deter China...in the PACIFIC?
@CoachGoldstick This is great - "We shouldn’t need to teach adults to respect each other…"
Yeah - like how about respecting adults who chose not to participate...
I want to thank the IDF, Mossad and Israel for killing the Hezbollah leaders who have killed so many Americans. Tough, dirty work. America and the world are safer because of your sacrifices.
@bonchieredstate Not defending this disaster...but hes pretty clear about pulling out of deals at the brink to get a better deal in his book...Trump might be a negotiator that Iran understands...nothing he says or does is binding...
The thing that winds me up is how Elon has a trillion because he’s set up a system where he forcibly takes 40% of what hard working people produce, leverages it up as debt, spends it ineffectively and does dumb things to win the votes of millions of people who’ve become dependent on his handouts.
@EWErickson How do you support any candidate for office though - least offensive sin?
I agree with the first sentence, but if you're in TX, and you abstain b/c of moral purity, that's kind of stupid (render to Ceasar what is Ceasar's and all that)
@TimWebbsite@LawyerInMO@jeremycoleman@baseballcrank Falling short is expected and forgivable...deliberately twisting God's words to fit or support an ungodly political agenda is apostasy and is specifically not forgivable
@LawyerInMO@jeremycoleman@baseballcrank Jeremiah 1:5 -
And Christ explicitly separated Government from faith...supporting a candidate who defies God's creation of 2 - and only 2 - genders is disqualifying whatever the other redeeming characteristics are...
@PhillyFadezz ? Had like 30 minutes back there - that's not manipulating a pocket, that's relaxing in an easy chair waiting for a receiver to get open...
