Hosting a CFO breakfast at the new Concourse HQ with my good friend @IvanoMakSF & @a16z as part of New York Tech Week!
Last year for @Techweek_ we had over 80+ CFOs and amazing conversations on how AI was just starting to make an impact for finance teams.
A year later AI is not just part of the toolkit for finance but agent building and re-thinking agentic workflows is the key driving initiatives on everyone's 2026 plan.
So we're running it back this June and enhancing the event with a panel of CFOs who have implemented AI and how they are seeing real measurable results from AI.
Come hang with us and learn more about how to deploy AI agents into your team and work!

Just sent out our @Concourse_ai 2025 investor update. Easily the best year we’ve had.
In 2025 we:
📈 Grew revenue by 19x
🏢 Onboarded over 70+ customers
🐘 Working with 2 Fortune 500 customers
🤖 Deployed 200+ AI agents, saving teams 8,000+ hours
🔌 Shipped 20 new integrations (NetSuite, Ramp, HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe, Rillet, and many more)
👥 Grew the team by 1 and just opened up 10 new roles 🇲🇽 Took the whole team to Mexico City for a week offsite
🏡 Signed a new 6,000 sq. ft. office in Flatiron (moving in next month)
Proud of the team and the real impact we’re having for finance teams.
2026 is already shaping up to be even bigger 🚀

Software as we know it is going to die.
Much how the browser is actively being disrupted by @OpenAI, our business software tools are going to change dramatically in the next few years.
We don’t want more buttons, more tabs, more flows. Users want to drive better and faster business decisions.
Complex business software often feels like we need a PHD just to learn how to use the software. I want to get information faster, manipulate it quickly, and get insights from my data much faster. I don’t want to implement and re-implement software for months just to have a better idea on how I’m doing.
@Concourse_ai we’ve been working at the intersection of Gen AI and financial data. We build AI agents that can understand business logic and take on real worklfows to help finance teams do more faster.
Our UI has very few buttons and everyone’s Concourse experience and insights they get back are very bespoke to their work and company.
We’re hiring and bringing on more team members who are excited about what AI agents and the future of software will look like and the impact it is have on companies of all sizes! Grateful for the support from @astrange and @a16z on reshaping the future of business software!

Some thoughts on how AI Agents has enabled our small team of 8 @Concourse_ai to start to scale 🚀
💻 Design + Coding + Deployment --
This is where we've invested the most and where the impact has been the largest. As a team of predominantly engineers we've seen our shipping speed 2x what we did in January and that was 2x speed of what we did in the fall
The stack that works for us the best is a combination of @AnthropicAI's Claude 3.7 hooked up with @cursor_ai
As the least technical members of the team @ted_michaels1 and I have probably adopted this stack the fastest. We've been able to move prototyping from @figma and a few days to just a few hours with AI. We're now able to think through features and use cases and have a fully operational prototype by standup next day. Next step is hooking up a @vercel FE to this workflow
The adoption from our engineers has been slower at first but now -- I don't know how we could ship like we do without this stack. Use cases range from going through API documentation to speed up implementation time, to code complete, to debug and test. Really impressed with what they've built.
We obviously use @linear and i'm super excited to see their new agentic workflow on ticket-assigning.
🤝 GTM --
This is my focus for the next month to really up-level our AI agent stack because i'm still doing 90% of manual work that I should be doing with AI
@firefliesai is probably my highest use AI tool. From taking meeting notes, to drafting follow-up emails, to synthesizing pain points, to writing-up case studies -- there's a whole agent ecosystem that helps me stay on top of 3x the number of conversations and deals I could otherwise handle well.
Scheduling & email is still @vimcal & @Superhuman but I would love more AI and agents there to really take emailing, following up, scheduling through an AI agent. I know they are both working on stuff so hopefully I don't have to switch but this is a big area I want an AI agent in my life for. Also excited about trying more AI for tailored proposals, CRMing, sending out contracts. Haven't yet seen an agent in this part of the deal process but very open to trying something.
We've been fortunate to not yet need to really spin up outbound but I'm more skeptical than most on AI SDRs. I like the concept a lot -- but I've never bought anything from an AI SDR or even booked time for a demo. And neither have any of my friends. I think we're just early in the products really working.
Marketing and content is done with help from the LLMs. Most of the time my workflow is -- I create an outline of the post with the sections, bullet points, and key insights I want to derive. I also write out a few sentences in my own voice on key points and then feed that + a pre-written prompt to an LLM (I am currently cycling through a few for content) and then spend time tweaking the output and post. Images for posts are @midjourney but @OpenAI's new image model is crazy good. Not a super optimized flow but good enough for now + not sure how much to invest in SEO and content given how things are evolving. More agents to own this workflow and have context on what i've written before would be huge -- likely the next iteration here. (0 ai in this post for a/b testing)
⚙️ Operations --
We eat our own dog food at @Concourse_ai so we hookup our own @QuickBooks and @SnowflakeDB instances to Concourse's AI agent and use it for data analysis and querying of information. We're small so I still do all the financial KPI tracking and Concourse's AI has enabled me to get a snapshot of last month in <1 minute with some interesting vendor level insights for spend + KPI tracking on usage & revenue for our customers
On the legal side, I run every red-line and contract through our @OpenAI instance and then have it pull out insights and areas to focus on. Doesn't yet remove me reading through a contract / our lawyers but does help me get a good sense of where to focus on. I've got a good set of prompts that I also run the contracts through that can help me pull out things I know I care about.
Payroll, People, Accounting, Banking, Bill-Pay & CC, IT, Compliance etc. is still the standard stack (@GustoHQ, @QuickBooks, @tryramp, @brexHQ, @mercury, @Google) has very little AI but I don't spend a ton of time here anyways so less of a focus for me. It's relatively well automated for a small company and runs pretty smoothly. I'm sure will become a bigger focus on the agent side as we continue to grow.
Drop the best AI agents you're using and what we should be using to grow our AI adoption
We're at a point where you can now thing AI agent first vs. headcount or automation for most of the stuff you're doing on a day to day basis. My mental framework is that if I do something more than 3 times -- I'm now thinking what AI agent can I use for this 🤖
