I’m all for more investment in the grid and abundant energy.

I’m also a big fan of exports for Irish companies (and therefore the Irish economy) as they are capturing a lot of this value.

Enterprise Ireland says the broader Irish high-tech-construction sector now exports about €4.7bn annually, employs 35,000+ people, and has grown at 22.5% CAGR since 2021. Data-centre work accounts for about €2.1bn of those exports. More than 180 Irish companies are exporting high-tech-construction capabilities to 14 countries.

Good Swedish example here. I’d expect a similar case study in the future for the Finnish project

I almost died after 4 hrs of German / English re-reading of every sentence.
