I started to be aware of how much stimulation I consumed before focused work.
The interesting thing isn’t that I became more productive.
It was that starting became easier. Less resistance. Less need to get motivated.
More happiness towards it. More natural drive.
It made me think about how often we mistake an overstimulated brain for either a personality, or a discipline problem.
Being able to ’just do things’ isn’t always a strength.
It’s a two-sided coin. Sometimes it means you’ve become so automatic that you stop questioning what you’re doing.
@mindandglory That’s what our environment constantly pull us towards. You can feel extremely productive consuming knowledge and still not move anywhere
