After my ordeal, I had to wait (as far as I remember) over a year and a half, before I got information on wether my case would go to court.

All the while, I was told by police that I could not start trauma-therapy, because it could affect my memories of the events, and having to deal with an HIV-scare from the assault.

The waiting and uncertainty definetly was an ordeal in itself. And ofc, we didn't get to court bc the perpetrators said I consented.
