Congratulations to my community relations director, Mario Peña, just sworn in as Tonawanda City Clerk. I got back in time to watch as our friend, my predecessor Robin Schimminger, administered the oath of office. Thank you for your service, Mario, and good luck in your new role!
Great swearing-in event in the City of Tonawanda today for 1st Ward Councilman Jim Shiesley and 2nd Ward Councilman Chris Fisher - congratulations to both and best wishes in the New Year! @Kennedy4Senate@CTONDems
Gayle Syposs was a trailblazer, the first woman elected to the Tonawanda City Council. As a political leader, she'd seen everything, and she remained fascinated by it all. Gayle was resolute, direct. She loved the Democratic Party; she loved her city. She will be deeply missed.
