@bryan_johnson You would be playing the role of those characters you name IF you were indeed going to be inmortal before that diagnosis. That is what distinguishes those characters from every other human that ever existed including you. It's a big IF...
@CFCUnderdogs@PrimePhaseX That would introduce HUGE drama: "it was CLEARLY headed into the net!" "No it wasn't" "Yes, the trajectory was curving", etc etc
You can't do that
@jonkomet They are NOT matching codex usage limits to their real actual costs. Otherwise as costs go down they'd offer more and more usage, but they "need" usage to remain constant to make the monthly plan eventually profitable. So they subjectively match usage to performance. Marketing...
@jonkomet@moinulmoin@MayaStone420@JesusGodAndKing When I select 5.6 Sol Ultra in Codex I LITERALLY get a cosmic-themed highlighted warning "consumes usage limits faster". ๐คทโโ๏ธ
So I went with 5.6 Sol High whose benchmarks say it should be much better than 5.5 xhigh anyway.
This helped https://t.co/tjsoiK19zK
@technopopulist@DanNeidle We need written debates about this. Not stupid live discussions whose "winner" is just whoever is snappiest.
Several professional economists including Noble Proze winners defend wealth taxes.
Some countries implement them successfully.
Not so easy to dismiss the argument.
@hoogilyboogily@DrTonyShenton@samuel_leeds@DanNeidle I think the numbers very clearly show that the size of the pie is increasing at a lower rate (see gdp growth) than the wealth of the wealthier individuals (which increases 10,20,30% per year depending on how well they manage their investments). So the proportion favours wealthy.
@physics_and_god@samuel_leeds@DanNeidle Couldnt agree more.
At this point we need written debates with days between responses.
We deserve a well argued, reasoned, and researched debate about this.
@Nate_Scotts@sama Your top view, side view, cross section view, 3d view, and the main central view, are all the same.
The text says the same thing three times.
You just assumed you can build an electromagnetic accelerator (you can't) and replicated one for each axis - a trivial step.
AI slop!
@ShaneRyanHere Confirmed by players:
Belgium midfielder Raskin said
"There was a sense of injustice within the squad, and we were determined to respond on the field."
Belgium captain Youri Tielemans also insisted the build up to the game had boosted his side.

@ShaneRyanHere Not crazy at all.
If the players and coach had agreed not to make use of the FIFA ban reversal, they might have been cheered, and probably played better.
@cremieuxrecueil TO BE FAIR; studies can just be wrong, as you often point out! PROBLEM: skills and education are needed to read studies properly. THEREFORE the uneducated layman can't judge. Only option is to TRUST an expert to tell them which studies are valid.
How do they know who to trust?
@nikolacupic@jponsvega@cremieuxrecueil It doesn't 100% work.
My first test was to write text purely with AI and Pangram told me it was human written. I kind of stopped testing it then - it was literally a first test. It was obviously AI written.
@Darryl_Revok77@hydrogeoscience@LinusEkenstam Lol. You know that country borders are human-drawn, right?
Worldwide total is what really matters.
And for any individual population, the total per capita is what they can control and measure against.
