@intelFromBrian@libsoftiktok@JCBDoralThunder my advice is just skip the icyhot and go straight to buying a heating pad. i'm assuming that the strain you had to put yourself through trying to connect those two separate issues will cause a few aches later
@capeandcowell i think anytime someone tries talk down to others due to their education they have to disclose whether or not they paid for that education themselves or not. Can't talk Sh#t to that mechanic if they paid for your degree
Reminder that Tolkien was a devout Christian.
Into his books he wove a profound (but not heavy-handed) Christian message - one that inspired millions.

California's new $20 minimum wage rule will exempt restaurants that sell bread, handing a lucrative break on wages to the Panera chain and one of Governor Gavin Newsomโs longtime allies https://t.co/fvC7QCfTla
@ShannonThrace kind of seems like everyone read it the same way. I'm sure you had good intentions but 90% of communication is non-verbal so when we're only left with the other 10% it can cause misunderstandings.
@elonmusk Actually the long term goal is the 2030 census . Voting doesn't matter is you can stack the gov't with just one party. Any illegal voters here and there are just a bonus. This is also why they want to do away with the electoral college
It honestly doesn't matter if the climate crisis is real or not, what matters is that the policies being created to supposedly solve the crisis:
1. Do nothing to mitigate climate change
2. Centralize power and authority over land, water, air, and natural resource rights
3. Exempt protected companies, agencies, and infrastructure from reporting emissions, paying for carbon credits, or submitting Environmental Impact Statements
4. Creates new taxes on the lowest wage earners in this county, while reducing their access to heat, nutrient-dense foods, and mobility
5. Redistributes generational wealth and land to state and federal agencies, while offering higher tax burdened "affordable housing" in exchange
6. Creates corporatism and planned outcomes via public-private partnership agreements commonly referred to as economic fascism throughout history
7. Creates new mechanisms that Exempt favored corporations from reporting or record keeping, proving what they're doing is helping to mitigate climate change by any measurable affect
8. Creates new voodoo accounting for lending on imaginary and speculative assets, resulting in degrowth models - water, food, and housing- driving up our dependency upon foreign and costly imports.
9. Perpetuates use of already failing technologies proven to be more harmful to the environment than good
10. Creates authoritarian no-go zones drastically reducing our rights to travel.
So Ed et al, at the end of the day, it's not the what, but the supposed "solution " to the "what" that's the actual issue here.
