'Pistol Pete' Maravich sharing his testimony of faith in Jesus Christ in 1987 less than one year before his death at the age of 40:
"I want all of you to know this tonight about Peter Maravich. You may never have heard of me. It makes no difference. I'm just one person on this earth saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. I want you to know this, that the change that came into my life was Jesus Christ.
It was not winning. I won all my life. I won every trophy, award, everything you can think of, but every time I won something, I wanted something more. I had to win again. It wasn't money, because money'll buy you everything but happiness. It'll pay your fare at every place but Heaven. Material things—I've driven everything some of you strive for from Rolls Royces to BMWs to Mercedes to Porsches. It wasn't religion because in the name of religion, Jesus Christ was placed upon that cross.
And the purest thing about Christianity is the fact that it's your choice. You can't work. You can't earn. I knew that, and I understood it now.
I want you to know this. The last thing I'd like to say is this, next week I'll be inducted into the Hall of Fame. I'll get that big ring. In fact, it's a bigger ring than I would have got for the championship, but I'll tell you something about all the awards. They all pale to the glory of Christ and what He's done in my life. It's amazing what He has done in my life.
I wouldn't trade my position in Christ for a thousand NBA championships or a thousand Hall of Fame rings or for a hundred billion dollars. There's nothing like the joy of Jesus Christ in your life."
After last weeks @CNN disasterous daily misinformation week, felt it was a good time to remind you of the hoaxes CNN has pushed.
Thanks to @NolteNC for compiling this list.
This will always be the most powerful clip I’ve seen from Voddie Baucham.
Thank you God for how you worked through him and his contribution and fervor to spreading the Gospel. 🙏🏼
Evil is real. There is no doubt, the enemy is hard at work.
These last few days, the weight of evil has been heavy across our nation.
But this I know: It will not have the final word. One day, God will make all things right.
Until then, we pray. We weep with those who weep. And we keep fighting, knowing the victory has already been won.
Paul Washer on overcoming sin and temptation:
"If you do not spend time in the word of God, if you do not spend time in prayer, if you do not spend time in good fellowship at a sound local church, you're not going to be able to overcome."
Romans 8:31-38 is AWESOME! Paul has been talking about battles and struggles. About sharing in Christ’s sufferings. He said we can count on great blessings if we keep the faith. Now he gives us a REASON to persevere—he says we are guaranteed victory because God can’t be beaten.
And not only that, the victory is permanent. Vs 31 says it doesn’t matter how many problems or forces come against us. We’ve got the ultimate weapon in Jesus. All of our sins are forgiven and no one will be able to condemn us on Judgment Day.
Verse 38 is so comforting—it says nothing in this universe can come against us in a way that will separate us from God and His love. If we truly join with Christ NOTHING can pry us out of God’s hand. That is a reason to be joyful today!
Dear VP Harris: I hear you make this statement all the time. Exactly what “faith” are you talking about when you say you don’t have to abandon it to support abortion? Are you talking about the Christian faith that says all babies are made in the image of God (Gen 1:26), that God places them in the womb (Jer 1:5) and that we should not take any life unjustly (Luke 18:20)? Are you talking about that faith or some nebulous, general “faith” that says we’re good enough, and smart enough to make our own decisions? What “faith” are you talking about?
Imagine what media coverage would look like if two different people had tried to kill Obama, including hitting him once, in two months. We didn’t have shots fired at a president for 43 years and we may have now had it happen twice in 60 days. Seems like kind of a big deal.
One month ago today, President Trump survived an assassination attempt.
No one has been fired and we still don’t know how and why it happened.
And now, it’s no longer even a news story.
Just think about how bad that really is.
All of our knees will bow and tongues confess that Jesus the Christ is King of Kings and Lord Of Lords; whether by choice or by command…
Either way we all bow.

Prison, NOW. Biden’s Secret Service director admitted the decision to leave the roof unguarded was deliberate. And her rationale is insane. Absolutely insane.
You cannot come to any other conclusion than this: Biden’s Secret Service and DHS deliberately created every single condition that led to Trump nearly being assassinated.
They did it on purpose. They’re admitting they did it on purpose. And they’re fine with the results, which is why no one has been fired.
How long until we discover the shooter was in communication with fed informants or assets prior to the event? Pretty wild how he just happened to pick the one event with the one spot that Biden’s Secret Service deliberately kept unguarded.
