Veteran Destroys Hemp Ban Logic in Minutes #txlege
“I spent a year in Iraq fighting for people like you. 70% of your constituents say regulate, not ban. Who are you representing?”
Kenneth Burner—a 4th generation Texan, veteran of a foreign war, and Texas Army National Guard member—calls out the hypocrisy of banning federally legal hemp products.
Bans don’t stop access—they just drive Texas dollars out of Texas.
There is a better way. #StopHB5 #StopSB5 #FacesOfTXHemp
Abbott & Patrick going head to head over THC in Tejas inspired me to take a look back. It seems the war against cannabis in Texas has been raging on for 100+ years. This is a timeline article of laws + reactions to Patrick’s recent THC jabs — https://t.co/qfSDf4Uudg via @mySA
In @GregAbbott_TX veto of SB3, he quoted our Arkansas lawsuit as the reason for not believing SB3 was constitutionally sound and open for lawsuit.
Now, coincidentally, after 2 years of an injunction keeping hemp products legal in the state of Arkansas, that injunction has been struck down!
We’ll be refilling for a new injunction asap, and this just goes to show that every state’s hemp policy can affect other state’s throughout the nation!
Our fight to keep hemp legal nationwide will keep fighting onward! 🤘🤘
This man has unified Texans in a way most thought impossible. These shenanigans will follow him all the way down the campaign trail, and we haven’t even gotten to the special session yet.
As a Veteran I'm not sure if there is anything more offensive than being called a terrorist, which you just did in your cute little puppet show. Every day you make me want to listen to everyone and run against you for Lt Gov of Texas. @DanPatrick
