@wildland_zko Agree - been up in the 6k-8k elevation outside Sierra City and comparing to last year specifically - it’s night and day - lots of green grass still, entire meadows still wet. This wasn’t the case in years past. Hopefully that bodes well over the coming months.
@mollyhannahm Without the question we wouldn’t have got that answer, and that answer was really well done. I’m choosing to appreciate both. Is that allowed?
@GeeScottSr I don’t follow the Broncos, the Seahawks, or Russell Wilson. I‘ve never followed the Wisconsin Badgers or NC State. I haven’t watched an entire NFL game for over two decades. I listen to a little sports radio and I know he has his own personal coaches. Give me a break.
@wildland_zko Appreciated the broadcast this evening and sharing your views on prescribed burns, changing mindset re: expanding burn windows and increased risk, and the subsequent resource$ required (air support). Also appreciated the on-site video. Thank u.
@wildland_zko@FIRIS Regarding the NE corner of the fire. From Deadwood Rd east, for about 1.5-2mi, the terrain is less fuel dense then the area it’s come through to get there. Also more forgiving for firefighters and vehicles…as you work south however, the further from FH Rd, advantages decrease.
