Aku kadang-kadang tak faham dengan tahap kesabaran PMX @anwaribrahim ni. Waktu dia bersuara melawan sistem korup dulu, setinggi gunung cacian, tuduhan, kezaliman dia terima.
Sanggup ketepikan dendam demi keadilan buat rakyat kebanyakan.
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim @anwaribrahim delivered his maiden speech tonight at the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Dressed in light blue Malay traditional wear and songkok, coincidentally the president of the session is also the permanent representative of Malaysia to the UN, Ahmad Faisal Muhammad presided today.
Anwar took about 16 minutes in his speech at New York.
Here are among the highlights:
📕Stronger nations are increasingly casting the UN aside for smaller platforms, while they pay lip services to the imperative of multilateralism, the emergence of mini-lateralism, effectively lead to fragmented configurations of power
📕 Major powers rivalry will lead to a world where the masses are unrepresented, where the few rule over the many and the many resent the few
📕 Condemn unequivocally the Russian invasion of Ukraine - impact of the war in Ukraine has caused food prices to skyrocket, leading to shortages and hunger
📕 Calls on Myanmar to immediately implement ASEAN FIve Point Consensus
📕 Climate change - Malaysia is seeing an increase of the adverse impacts of climate change, urging developed countries to fulfil their commitment of mobilizing $100 billion a year to support climate projects and programs in developing countries
📕 Islamophobia - Malaysia is concerned over the emergence of "new form of racism" in the form of xenophobia, negative profiling and stereotyping of Muslims

A short story of great Malaysian diversity 🇲🇾
I sent my car for a wash this morning.
What I observed and noticed:
- Car wash owned by an Indian couple
- Chinese altar next to the reception
- Malay customer reading ‘Atomic Habit’
- White businessman with his Mercedes SUV
- Raya (Eid) song playing in the background
- The car wash owner conversing in English
- Malay lady who said she’s seen my posts on Facebook
All of these within a small area in Cyberjaya, Malaysia’s tech hub.
I was fortunate to have travelled and lived overseas.
I’ve never seen this anywhere else in the world.
To me, this is a perfect example of harmony and diversity.
Malaysia is not a perfect country.
In fact, no country is.
If we choose to see imperfections, that’s all we will see.
Left the car wash with a sense of pride and gratefulness.
Selamat Hari Raya to my Muslim family and friends.
Travel safe and take care.
Many people visualise GE15 results via a map.
Problem: PN and BN areas have fewer voters than PH, but have *huge* land area. This gives a misleading impression of what % of the country parties actually won.
Here's a cool dataviz which fixes that:
Land doesn't vote, people do.
I am hoping. Truly hoping that Pakatan Harapan (82) is able to form a coalition with GPS (22), GRS (6) and Independent (2) to form a simple majority = 112. We need this change and we need it NOW! #GeneralElection2022#PRU15#PakatanHarapan#dsai
Kekalahan Nurul Izzah, probably because her fight were out of their range.
She talks about food security, climate changes etc, this could be too “heavy” for the people to digest?
Hence, the tiktok trend by PN worked. Benda ringan, orang suka.
