🔥 Today (6th Dec 2025) the @GCAT_dhrp lit up the room @icasa2025 during our Booth #30 discussion on digital violence, commemorating the #16DaysOfActivism2025!
This was a real and raw discussion on technology facilitated abuse, a finding that emerged as one of the defining themes of our #CostsOfConnection Report.
💥 The message was loud and clear from communities: Digital violence is real, it is rising, and it must be addressed with urgency.
Delegates didn’t hold back. They called on governments to:
✅Strengthen privacy protections
✅Enforce data confidentiality, and
✅Craft clear, actionable guidelines that safeguard rights in the digital age, especially for PLHIV, and affected populations.
🎥 Catch the energy, the insights, and the powerful calls to action to see how it all went down!
