I think that the beauty (if I may) of this study is on the cell models that we built with @PapapetrouMDPhD. These are based on previous work in her lab https://t.co/JHXUY2DU36 and extremely valuable, it turns out, to understand how MYC works to transform cells.

What happens when MYC signaling is sustained in hematopoietic cells? This study from @PapapetrouMDPhD and @DDSoLab examines how persistent MYC activity blocks differentiation and promotes leukemic transformation. Explore on https://t.co/8X4XaGpJpO

This is the latest work from the lab, in collaboration with Peter Heeger at @CedarsSinai. We had the precious help of many, including @FribourgLab, Alex Tsankov’s lab and @pardi_lab. You can find it at @JExpMed:

@Hema_News @IcahnMountSinai Congrats to David (@DDSoLab), Eirini (@PapapetrouMDPhD), and the team on how persistent MYC rewires epigenetic landscapes and TF networks, revealing sustained deregulation drives MYC-driven leukemic transformation. @ISEHSociety

A bunch of @StokesNeuro's trainees (from many points in time) put together a list of '10 simple rules for a supportive lab environment', inspired by the example he set. This has been a wonderful moment of reflection for me personally, as I start my own lab https://t.co/FctwQw0dFi

Impactful words by @CarolynBertozzi today on how diversity in her trainees enabled creativity, not playing by the rules, and ultimately the work that built the field of bioorthogonal chemistry. Diverse science leads to better science!
