You know what the best revenge is?
Distance yourself, heal yourself, and become the happiest version of yourself. That’s it. Not a single person is worth taking revenge on.

Tamil Nadu is already facing concerns over GST revenue growth.
In this situation, is reducing VAT on aviation turbine fuel (ATF) the right fiscal decision, given that VAT on ATF is a source of revenue that accrues directly to the state?
The government may argue that lower fuel taxes will attract more flights, improve regional connectivity and stimulate economic activity. But how much revenue will the state forgo, and is there a credible assessment that the resulting economic benefits will offset that loss?
At a time when state finances need careful management, shouldn't this decision be backed by transparent estimates of revenue loss and the expected economic gains?

With waterways like Buckingham Canal near Kodungaiyur, Cooum and Otteri Nullah still facing pollution challenges, there’s much work to be done across Tamil Nadu despite ongoing government efforts.
Every tangible step towards addressing civic issues deserves recognition.
Kudos to @JeganathMishra_ for the initiative to clean Chinna Irattai Vaikkal along the Cumbum–Surulipatti Road. 👏
A historic milestone for Tamil Nadu’s aviation sector!
We are reducing VAT on aviation fuel for domestic airlines from 29% to 16% at Chennai Airport, and to just 1% at other airports across Tamil Nadu. By slashing this, we are taking a decisive step towards making air travel more accessible and our regional airports more competitive.
Lower operating costs can encourage airlines to introduce new routes, increase flight frequencies and expand operations beyond Chennai. This means better connectivity for our cities, a boost to tourism and trade, and new opportunities for businesses and travellers across Tamil Nadu.
Under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru C. Joseph Vijay, we are building an aviation ecosystem that connects more regions, unlocks economic potential and powers Tamil Nadu’s next phase of growth.
I haven’t watched a single Savukku Shankar video, nor do I blindly accept everything he says. But this snippet raises a legitimate question.
Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from criticism. If allegations are false, counter them with facts. If content violates the law, follow due process.
If reports of his videos being inaccessible on Facebook in India are accurate, why? If a government directive is involved, the legal basis and reasons must be made public.
My point is simple: questioning a restriction isn’t endorsing an individual. It’s standing up for transparency, accountability and the public’s right to know.
Students thank their “Vijay Mama” for the free stationery items and school essentials at Perambur MLA office. They want their CM to meet them in their schools, and many say they’re his big fans. @CMOTamilnadu
