It can be hard to keep on pursuing a dream that never seems to become reality. Here's an example. When I was younger, I used to dream I would be a successful person, and in my mind, success meant that I was a millionaire. I didn't know how I was going to do it, but it was that dream of becoming successful that kept driving me to improve my situation. As I got older, I realized that success to me had a more broader meaning and I could be successful even if the dollars didn't add up to what I had imagined success to be.

Well, not long ago, I was reflecting on my life and I realized that I had become the successful person I had always dreamed of. I had achieved my goal without even realizing it. I had a good job, a great family and my health was good. I was in a position financially where I wasn't struggling to pay the bills each month. In my mind, that was success and I had achieved it. My whole life, I kept the embers burning. Sometimes fanning them to get hotter, but they always kept burning. My definition of success changed, but what's even more amazing is when I stopped focusing on money as a measure of success, the money came anyway. I actually achieved my goal, without knowing it.

So - keep those embers burning. Hold on to your dreams. Continue to work. Maybe your definition of success will change, but never lose sight of your dreams.

@BEisenhart @nickrgrs I don’t think median households are living in 500k houses. Heck, I don’t live in a 500k house and I could afford it. There are still plenty of houses under 200k. Mine is valued around 350k. I own real estate and all of my houses cost less than 350k. Most in the low 200k.

@MichaelGannotti @ollama I’ve experienced that with Claude Code Pro. I frequently run out of tokens when I’m heads down coding a lot. I even asked Claude how to mitigate that and it said to use pay as you go. I set that up, gave it a $10 limit to test and spent it in an hour!!

I’m 100% convinced that all these accounts that say we are paying for @claudeai but only using a fraction of its power are Claude-bots trying to influence people to burn through tokens.

Couldn’t do it. When I challenged its math skills, it admitted that it was never trained to do math. It treats numbers as text so addition is foreign.
