@AlpacaAurelius Actually, I remember several years ago a doctor saying he had a patient who ate nothing but oranges for a while and gained weight. He attributed it to calories, but I expect it was fructose.
@lorrain00414525 Most people confuse the 95% effectiveness with prevention when it was actually referring to the ability to reduce severity of symptoms.
@erdocAA And if you're metabolically unhealthy enough that the symptoms may kill you, take the jab. If you're healthy then statistically the risk/reward isn't worth taking an experimental shot.
@geezerpaulr If he thought it would prevent infection, then I'll laugh for you. But I remember when the vaccines were first talked about that we were told it would only cause slightly milder symptoms, not make you immune. That's what the 95% efficacy was referring to.
@adamcarolla Like to hear from a surgeon but I've heard that not all doctors wear masks during surgery. When they do they're switching to a fresh one every two hours.
