@AmbJohnBolton Agreed. Now if only Trump would fly to India and pander to Modi like he did Xi, he might actually be doing something constructive. And maybe free up those arms sales to Taiwan while he's at it. It would be choosing the good over the powerful.
@AmbJohnBolton Trump's claim that the 2020 presidential election was rigged should have been enough reason to write him off as mentally unstable, but he was re-elected anyway, so the results should not be a surprise.
@DanielPipes@Lazar_Berman@netanyahu One should not be surprised at the abysmal "deal" that Wikoff and Kushner put together. It's of a piece with the clown show they put on when negotiating with Putin, and Trump's pandering to Xi over Taiwan. It's amateur hour once again in the White House.
@AmbJohnBolton You just want low gas prices? Here's what you do:
-Lift sanctions
-Ignore nukes
-Allow arms imports from China etc.
-Embargo Israel
-Pay the jizya with willing submission (Koran 9:29)
-Bask in international acclaim
-Get first Nobel Prize for dhimmitude
@AmbJohnBolton Speaking of Trump, I've found that his derogatory statements about Amb. Bolton are absolutely disgusting. Bolton is dumb, huh? Projection alert!
When Republicans come up with somebody decent, I'll rejoin the Party.
@blahblahblah453@AmbJohnBolton I defer to John Bolton: He has advised bombing the regime facilities extensively and working closely with and arming the opposition, which he claims we haven't done. We will need special ops for the nuke material, which would be the only ground actions.
@blahblahblah453@AmbJohnBolton There are more choices than to invade or not to invade, but let's not fool ourselves about the effectiveness of negotiating with the regime. Besides, Persians are not Arabs, having some real civilizational DNA in their bones.
@AmbJohnBolton Lately, Trump has been threatening Israel not to retaliate against Iran. Obviously, the regime can rightly conclude that Trump's fear of domestic politics has neutralized the US significantly, although Trump's flip-flops may alienate both hawks and doves.
@DanielPipes@SheilaGunnReid@RebelNewsOnline Recently, John Bolton made a good point, opining that our fickle policy towards Iran could lead to nuclear proliferation as our Gulf allies could not trust our commitments. That's why the Iranian regime needs to go. More resolve, please.
@DanielPipes@AmbJohnBolton Trump is just jealous of Bolton because he's patently smarter. It's bitter-sweet following John as it reminds me of what we could have had as President.
I enjoyed "The Room Where It Happened", which reads like a humerous horror story. Black humor!
@AmbJohnBolton Looks like the Dems will control congress, and they will refrain from military action, but this is not like Vietnam, where we could just walk away. Iran has far more strategic significance and is much more menacing. Let's not whistle past the graveyard.
@DanielPipes@MitchellGBard One point many of these "helpful" people miss is that anti-Zionism is a global phenomenon, not just a US one. The global Left goes craziest whenever Israel uses hard power, even for defense, so committing suicide is the only real way to win them over.
@DanielPipes Great insights. I would add that Lebanon is starting to look a lot like Somalia, impoverished, chaotic, and dominated by Hezbollah, a sad remnant of her former glory.
@AmbJohnBolton The way to get public opinion back on track is to use military force to open the strait for the Gulf Arabs and to continue to annihilate the Iranian fascists. Trump's current policy of doing as little as possible will simply prolong the rancor.
@AmbJohnBolton Looks like we have another ceasefire in the works for Lebanon. That should allow Hezbollah some space to rearm. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we're furiously negotiating some alleged "deal" with the IRGC while they dig out their rockets.
@DanielPipes If our leaders are too dumb to understand this simple idea (as John Bolton says, turning the strait off and on like a light switch) and its dire consequences, then they deserve to lose the next election, although we may go from dumb to dumber.
