@Gooodmorninguys@the1975_thteam It’s so hard to rank these. Completely based on my mood. But I think ILIWYS is still #1. I’m surprised to see BFIAFL low on your list. Has the album not aged as well for you? I absolutely love it but understand it’s more straightforward which is not typical of your music.
@LandsbergManual This just doesn’t fit with my personal clinical experience. There are cases where this matters. But it’s extremely rare I’ve had to increase FiO2 on the basis of an ABG. If hypoxemia does not equate to hypoxia. Patients with PaO2 55-60 are rarely hypoxic absent other issues
@LandsbergManual Often? I think stating that every patient in respiratory failure needs an ABG for O2 titration is potentially harmful. I strongly disagree with this recommendation
@emily_fri I get the sense PJP prophylaxis in patients on prednisone alone is overly done and not backed by good evidence. Potential adverse reactions to Bactrim worries me more than extremely low risk of PJP, personally.
Cigna uses an automated system that allows “medical directors” (doctors employed by @Cigna) to deny a claim in 1.2 seconds without opening the patient’s file.
Please read this, share it, and help us (metaphorically) burn these companies to the ground.
@jess_sims what in the world was this class?! You certainly have a talent for keeping things interesting to say the least #dead https://t.co/ujLrPjifWt
This really resonated with me. Research, while important, is way overvalued in academia relative to contributions clinically and educationally. Both are important and should be equally valued and rewarded
Why are doctors quitting? @_Eric_Reinhart argues it’s a loss of faith. “What has been identified as occupational burnout is a symptom of a deeper collapse. We are witnessing the slow death of American medical ideology,” he says. https://t.co/ZKlIquB1wq
