@OctopusEnergy This reads like a template and misses the point, Octopus Energy. Why increase an overnight tariff at all? Generic “market conditions”/Iran war references aren’t enough—this looks very premature. Why are off-peak users being penalised?

@OctopusEnergy Hey Octopus Energy — overnight tariff hikes don’t stack up. UK ~30p/kWh vs US ~12–16p (5–8p off-peak) — ~2–4x higher. Strait of Hormuz/Middle East tensions doesn’t wash—UK exposure is limited and these spikes are short-lived. Why are customers shifting usage overnight penalised?
