1/2: In 1999, my wife graduated from college with $45,000 in federal student loans under an income based repayment plan that would be forgiven after 20 years of payments. She paid on time, even during COVID for 267 months, or 22.25 years for a total of $83,700.

@USOPM Can someone lock in a schedule of deferred resignation with voluntary early retirement starting on Oct 1 during the initial resignation process, or do they have to wait until Sept to elect the VER? The FAQ is contradictory in regards to this.

@MBZMaster Is there a setting to turn the engine off completely? GLB and GLC glide, but only drop engine to ~600 rpm, not off completely.
