Yesterday, RWAMREC, in partnership with the WFP through the Shora Neza Project, launched the 12-week Journey of Transformation (JOT) training for young married farmers and their partners in Karembo Sector, Ngoma District. Over the next 12 weeks, couples will learn, reflect, and grow together as they challenge gender stereotypes, strengthen joint decision-making, and build more equal partnerships at home and on the farm. 🌱🤝

RWAMREC has concluded a 3-day Gender Transformative Approach (GTA) training under the #KATAZAProgram, bringing together financial service providers, refugee camp leaders, and local leaders from across Rwanda.

A powerful reflection from a participant:
"We denied some women loans because they lacked experience, without understanding the barriers that prevented them from gaining that experience. Going forward, we will provide mentorship and share these lessons with colleagues."

Many participants also expressed interest in attending future sessions with their spouses—a strong sign that gender transformation is gaining momentum both at home and in institutions. #RWAMREC #GenderEquality #FinancialInclusion #PositiveMasculinity #LeaveNoOneBehind

📍 This week, RWAMREC and WFP, through the Shora Neza Project, brought together district leaders and partners across several districts to reflect on progress and strengthen collaboration for the months ahead.

We concluded a five-day Resilience-Oriented Therapy (RoT) training for mental health professionals from @KarongiDistr as part of our nationwide training series, following @Muhangadis, @Kamonyi, @Nyarugenge, & @BugeseraDistr.

The training equipped participants with tools for patient screening, reporting, communication, and engagement, strengthening their capacity to deliver quality psychosocial services. In collaboration with @Interpeace_Org & @RBCRwanda, with support from @EUinRW.
