@PaEdChoice Does everyone remember when you could see the locations of X accounts for like an hour that one day? This is the same user tweeting back and forth making conversations seem organic lmao
While Gov. Shapiro loves to ignore facts (READ: thinks you’re stupid), let’s set the record straight here.
The ACA (“Obamacare”) was enacted on a partisan basis. We were all told it “…would lower the cost of healthcare and we could keep our plans!”
Nothing was further from the truth, but that’s how everyone got sold on it so easily and blindly - which is exactly what the Left (and insurance companies) wanted.
Since Obamacare’s enactment, the cost of healthcare has SKYROCKETED - while access to family doctors in our neighborhoods has all but disappeared.
Meanwhile, insurance company profits are up 230% (I say again: 230% PROFIT) - and rejection rates hover around 30%.
To “fix” these problems, Pres. Biden and Congressional Democrats decided to enfeeble our Nation with more debt during the pandemic - and paid insurance companies to stay in business (govt subsidies).
When the pandemic ended, insurance companies continue(d) to raise rates while planning to keep getting money from Taxpayers (govt subsidies).
It’s time to FIX THIS and make healthcare affordable and accessible - for everyone.
Stop believing the Leftist propaganda.
“Comments like that, while we’re trying to do a budget, has an impact on the budget. It absolutely does. It has an impact on the trust level between members and colleagues and the administration.” - PA House GOP Leader Rep. Jesse Topper

@PaSuburbsGuy @BritCrampsie It makes sense for PA Republicans to host fundraisers in Jersey - that's where they find some of their best candidates (Thanks Dr. Oz!) evidently! Maybe you should try it next time you attempt to run for Governor.
@shesanti@tsmithpsd@AJLivingston7@lfeinberg@Malliard@SharonSedlar@JackSkyrunner@Stand4Cybers "Excessive government oversight" as in 1 live interaction a week? I'm glad the Senate ED committee is voting on changing the language to require 1 live interaction (As was intended w/ the wellness check language that CCA willingfully and purposefully is choosing to sidestep)
@Malliard@JackSkyrunner I don't think allowing school districts to use their actual ADMs or 16% for special education is really that unfair - how do you see that as unfair or wrong?
@Malliard@PaEdChoice I think it emphasized that another option was out there that is better for some students, and that the funding mechanisms that should have been changed years ago were flushed out due to the rapid growth
@Malliard@PaEdChoice I don't necessarily think that is true either, I think the excess special ed funds allowed CCA to expand programs more rapidly than it would have otherwise, but that's merely a thought than actual truth w/o looking at their financials
