PARLIAMENT - The price of fish & chips in the UK is now £10.88 per portion.
This is the taxpayer subsidised Dining menu in Parliament.

Because we aren’t all in this together 🤡
I'm obviously pro-meat consumption, but I have to admit that vegans raise valid concerns about animal welfare.
Before the Industrial Revolution, cattle were integral to daily life—they provided labor, milk, and, eventually, meat. People developed a relationship with their animals, and cows typically lived 5 to 10 years before being slaughtered.
Today, however, most cattle are bred solely for meat, packed into tight feedlots, and slaughtered in brutal conditions at just 18 months old. The way we raise and process animals has become detached from nature and ethics.
I believe that raising cattle and eating meat can be one of the best things for the environment, human health, and even animal welfare—but only if we do it the right way.
We need to return to small regenerative farms instead of mass industrial, corporatized industrial ones.

Bird flu is back in the headlines. But what’s actually happening?
Here’s the simplest way to understand it:
They’re using the COVID playbook again. This time, it’s about controlling your food.
Let me explain.
@LeoKearse U.S. no longer funding the war, so now The Brits are sending in troops. The establishment and the industrial war complex prevail again. #kieriscorrupt
@DrAseemMalhotra 12 years ago I moved to Hong Kong for work. I've just returned to my homeland permanently. I've been here 3 months and am considering leaving again. It's not the place I left. I feel for the law abiding, society contributing, and generally good British folk who have no way out.
I personally know many British politicians across all political parties. With few exceptions what I’ve learnt is at best they lack the basic integrity we would expect of all those whose duty it is to serve the public. At worst they lie and think it’s ok, even amusing. In many senses they are a mirror of society. A society that’s become increasingly dehumanised, corporatised, a society that’s lost its values and common decency. The solution starts by going back to square one and understanding what it actually means to be human.
