Wilfredo Jose Tortolero-Arriechi, a criminal illegal alien from Venezuela, stabbed 51-year-old Alberto Rangel inside Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital in San Francisco, Calif., Dec. 4. Sadly, Rangel died from the injuried two days later. Tortolero-Arriechi now faces charges for murder and use of a deadly weapon.

Tortolero-Arriechi's behavior grew increasingly alarming in the weeks prior to the attack. He allegedly threatened his own doctor and hospital staff.

ICE issued a detainer with the San Franciso County Jail, which asks for very basic cooperation: If local officials decide to release Tortolero-Arriechi for any reason, we need them to contact ICE so our officers can pick him up from the jail.

California sanctuary policies force local law enforcement to ignore ICE detainers and allow criminal illegal aliens — like Tortolero-Arriechi — to reenter the community illegally, putting Americans’ safety at risk.
