I’m not an expert, but believe you can’t draw a Private pension before age 57 and this age may increase. So you could retire before the State Pension Age but may still not be able to draw your Private Pensio

Seems to be a lot of pitfalls.

@shauntippins @WreccleshamBag1 Shaun. I played football but took out insurance. Good job I did as I broke my leg and my employer stopped paying me after 3 months ( I was off work much longer ). That was in 1974 !!!
Luckily our Manager was an Ins broker and encouraged us to take it out. Got me out of a hole.

@DarrellBoden @FSodenCoach @MrRecruitment01 Darrell people have no idea how much it costs to run a club. I ran a Sunday league team c. 17 years ago and we used a park pitch cost over £100 a game. Plus as you say, officials fees, laundry ( my wife washed the kit ) first aid, etc
Players paid subs but never enough.

@Sutton_Athletic V tight call, with the naked eye, not VAR. I’d say no goal, but asking a lot of the officials to see it clearly. Assume the ref was behind the play ( but not necessarily a long way) so can’t see how he could tell. Did he consult with the linesman before giving the goal.
