@TimInHonolulu If the assets are seized, are they then auctioned off until the debt is paid? What would stop an unknown benefactor (Elon, Saudis, Russian mafia) from grossly overbidding on a particular asset (e.g. 40 Wall Street) to pay the debt off in full? Would/could that work?

@adup512 @BarredinDC @SnappysDC Now that people rarely pay cash anymore it’s easier to just add on the tax. Back in the day it was just way too complicated to deal with coins and now we don’t have to.
