@SolickSeeds Hard to shop at one place now and get the best pricing. I go back to my professional position criteria and get three or four quotes now on almost all inputs and I tell the reps that if they want our business they better be straight up. Not sure how far that goes sometimes.
@AllamFarmer What is your current average rainfall total from the past 4 days over the farm that you are pushing down yields? Was some of this rain event downpours? We are at 3” to just under 4”. Low spots have standing/pooling water but expect it to soak in as long as we get a break
Thanks to the Huseby boys (Randal, Colin, Craig, Tim & Scott) for allowing us to show case the P680. A dream demoing with a crew that uses all the tech and on top of things like them.
@craig944@peelw8@BRILTD@JohnDeere
@jimmathesonnhl If they sign Dickenson, and get an Dach a contract, are the Oilers not still better off than Perry and having rid the Mangiapane mistake? Dach looks like he could develop into a solid bottom six player. Dickenson with a new PK coach and he right personnel is already proven.
@OilAcumen They have to sign the UFAs on the team they want to keep. You lose Dickenson, Roslovic, Murphy, Kapanen and Ingram and they are scrambling to be competitive again.
@AzorcanGlobal I think mentally not getting a goal in the second period and then one bad mistake ends up in their net, big hill to climb. Have to score early to change the mind set.
You cannot buy a new gas turbine until 2030. Order books at GE, Siemens, and Mitsubishi stretch to 2029. Turbine prices have nearly tripled since 2019. Every AI data center needs power and every gas plant needs a turbine. And every turbine has one part that bottlenecks the entire industry: The blade. It has to survive in gas 500°C above the melting point of the metal it's made from and spin at up to 20,000 RPM under 10,000 g of centrifugal force. Each blade is grown as a single crystal of nickel superalloy, pulled through a vacuum furnace at 3 mm per minute. A set of blades costs $600,000 and takes 90 weeks to grow. The same metallurgy powers modern jet engines. Only 3 companies on Earth can build one. China spent $42 billion trying to catch up. They bought a Russian fighter engine, took it apart, and copied every part. Their copy ran 30 hours between overhauls versus 400 for the original. Modern Western engines run 4,000. You can reverse engineer the shape of a turbine blade. You cannot reverse engineer 60 years of metallurgy.
@Bookjie@OilersJack Woodcroft stirring the drink behind the scenes for the Ducks speaks volumes about how much he knows the players on the Oilers and how to control some of the narrative. Quennville calls the shots but Woodcroft supports positive outcomes
@dstaples Nobody is talking about all of the icings the Oilers are taking to try and slow down the constant push from the Ducks. Icing, losing draws constantly and then either getting tired defending or getting scored on. Need to get pucks out but not always icing
@GrantBrown36280@SportsnetSpec After the playoffs we are going to find out he also has a hand injury. His stick handling and puck control after the Olympics has not been the same. Club has a lot of injuries that have just lingered all year. One more sacrifice by some guys is not in the cards
@dantencer Ingram?!? That's who you think is the weak link tonight? I think your PVR is showing you the wrong game. Ingram is the only reason it's not 10-3.
@Tys35 What the hell are they supposed to do, Ducks are wide open for 30 shots in first 30 minutes of the game. People really dont get it. How many goalies so far how many?
I am frankly tired of all the hockey not-so-intelligentsia jumping on goaltending in playoffs, especially on screened shots. Look Ingram is not problem as Oilers are tied 1-1. Oilers have lost thread of playing a good defensive brand. Again.
@bcurlock@ShonnOborowsky Why is the goalie the only one that has to do his job when the defence get to stand around watching the game like the rest of us.
@BradleySeaton15@ryanwhitney6 Lol… I’m sure you didn’t watch the game. If you give up 10–15 odd man rushes in a game, what is the goaltender supposed to do?
@nielsonTSN1260 To your second point, anyone blaming goaltending in this series, has never played the position in their lives. Ingram controlled the rebounds he could have. Shot clock was conservative in 1st period. What contenders give up 20 shots in a period? Odd man rushes constantly
If as a country we cannot put partisan blinders aside to simply acknowledge that these are incompetent people out of their depth, that their incompetence has led to global turmoil and destabilized the economy without strategic direction or purpose, and throw them out of office in 2026 and 2028 in favor of people who at least understand what they’re doing, we will continue to backslide into mediocrity.
I don’t care if you’re a D or an R—demand better as an American. Let’s not let this happen again.
Interesting fact on today’s new contract high on today’s crude. When comparing today’s high in crude vs March 25th 2022 high in crude, on the grain side we saw:
Wheat closed at $11.02
Corn closed at $7.54
Beans closed $17.10 1/4
Oats 7.38
Just an observation, do with it what you will…..
