A powerful milestone in the mainstream adoption and acceptance of USDC, with Visa announcing that all US card issuers (banks, fintechs, crypto firms) can now settle directly with Visa using USDC. Visa also working with Circle to prepare for launching on @Arc.
Dollar digital currency flowing from users, to Visa, and soon enough we think to merchants -- especially those that prefer to settle in digital dollars -- is more evidence that we are upgrading to a new internet financial system.
We are proud of our longstanding collaboration with Visa, and excited by their input as a design partner of @Arc, as the world's leading payment companies help us to shape and eventually operate a new Economic OS for the internet.

New entrants into the federal banking sector are good for consumers, the banking industry and the economy. Read about the OCC’s conditional approval of five national trust bank charter applications. https://t.co/xF3GzoJXGf
So unbelievably bullish for onchain commerce. Stripe can now easily embed a wallet behind the scenes into:
1) every merchant account and
2) every user facing https://t.co/MyJBcVPRiR account
Excited about the loyalty play here 👀 @john3gan
Congrats to the teams!
Introducing the Blockchain Payments Consortium (BPC).
A new alliance uniting @ton_blockchain, @0xPolygon, @solana, @SuiNetwork, @StellarOrg , @Mysten_Labs, @monad, and @FireblocksHQ to accelerate the future of blockchain payments.
Together, we’re defining the standards that will make digital money faster, trusted, and interoperable across networks and borders.

Importance of open standards articulated so eloquently
"We trust the folks currently building + trying to integrate these things, but we don't trust the future shepherds that could be financially motivated to construct walls"
My favorite game: who is/isn't listed! 🕵️♂️
Quick refresher:
-Visa has TAP so agents use credit cards + merchants recognize them
-Mastercard has Agent Pay
-Google has AP2 so agents can construct and negotiate temporary shopping carts + use whatever rails you/they choose
-Coinbase has x402 for crypto (Base for now, though you can manually add others)
-We have @atxp_ai so you get all of the above + below, without having to think about it. Without fees.
Networks:
-Visa has TAP
-Mastercard has Agent Pay
-AmEx making startup investments
...do they adopt each other's standards?
PSPs:
-Stripe launched ACP with a bunch of logos (like OpenAI + Shopify)
-Adyen working on TAP. Probably not supporting ACP?
-Nuvei leaning in heavily on TAP
-Paypal touts AP2 with Google
...are there more coming?
AI/agent providers:
-OpenAI partnered with Stripe on ACP. Not listed with TAP
-Anthropic hasn't said anything...yet
-Cloudflare partnered on x402, 402, TAP
-Google has A2A + AP2. Sort of partnered on 402, but not TAP. They probably don't care, as long as humans and agents can find + buy as fast as possible, with the lowest fees
-Amazon likely same as Google, though not in the rush to find replacement for Google Ads
-Apple...likes to be 2nd or 3rd when it's not existential
What did I miss?
If you're wondering why we keep building @atxp_ai -> it's because we don't like walled gardens. We trust the folks currently building + trying to integrate these things, but we don't trust the future shepherds that could be financially motivated to construct walls once agents try to start moving freely.
p.s. Many of the companies + individuals working on the above have invested in us. We continue talking with them to improve each of these, as we like all of the tools we put onto the workbench to be sharp + capable for any devs building with ATXP

1/ Today, we're proud to announce that Stripe is acquiring Privy.
We couldn’t be more excited.
Privy will continue as an independent product – but now we’ll move faster, ship more, and serve you even better, so you can stay focused on your users.
@ashleydzhang Is it inevitable? When I see this narrative, it’s typically to motivate builders to keep progressing thoughtfully else being overrun by builders that inevitably will progress irresponsibly
