@TheChristinab4@Twitter The importance you've placed on Twitter is definitely deserving. A lot of media forms and availability have been created here and I dont think they get their credit due. Very interesting pick!
@DavidMcGre I have actually never heard of such an app before and this is really interesting. This app definitely has a good use case but are there any issues with breach of privacy when it comes to what a patient has taken?
@Sebasti94126894 I can agree that collecting location data as the user (willingly or not) agrees to, the practice should not be scrutinized. This leads to a purely moral argument on whether or not it is "right" or "wrong" to collect such intimate data.
A very important app in the business management and recruiting industry is LinkedIn. LinkedIn allows for individuals to recruit or be recruited using a very refined digital identity of themselves. It connects professionals with ideas and opportunities.

The app generation has created risk-averse people who see their lives in a segmented way. The real question is if an individual is app-dependent or app-enabled.

Apps that are collecting our data have figured out how to do it so well, that they can tell you to your face, and you still won't know. Recently Apple has made this process much more difficult for advertisers for the sake of the user. https://t.co/vjPobhRQm7

We as humans have become dependant on apps to save us from doing simple, tedious tasks. Whether this has negative consequences on an individual is based on how they handle it. Do you neglect skills, or replace them?https://t.co/O9E4aXkBL1

@ProfessionalHLB I had some confusion reading this post as you said the second type, which in the video was identity group vs identity group. But I agree that if we can all come together to tackle issues, there is power in numbers.
@LibbyHughes24 With the social climate we are currently in, it is safe to say that silence is absolutely safer especially with people feeling more vulnerable than before with outrage political climates. How do you think people can express themselves without simply being nicer?
@Sebasti94126894 I absolutely agree with your sentiment, and this kind of groupthink was very obvious during the 2020 election. What do you think we can do to reduce this?
With the first kind of identity politics being good for addressing issues, i think if we can address the issue of collective hatred towards a single identifier, then we can make real progress.
There are two kinds of identity politics, one is good to address issues, and the other causes more issues.

Silent is better definitely applied to many social circumstances involving the 2020 election as it began to split the country in half and became a hostile topic.
The current speech climate within a university is βSilent is Saferβ, but this should not be the case.

Trump was able to raise over $250 million for his campaign through Facebook advertisements and other social media ads. Changing the way politics and social media relate indefinitely.

Allowing for online voting has been a big gamble for many countries but has absolutely paid off and actually created a great social sentiment within said countries.
