The complete award packet is now in the hands of the former Commanding General, Multi-National Force – Iraq (MNF-I) for final review and signature.
Once that last pen hits the page, we submit directly to U.S. Army Human Resources Command.

Four grenades land on a rooftop where four American soldiers are fighting for their lives.
SGT David Wall (2025 sworn statement):
“I observed SGT Quick crawling towards the stairs and after he was out of view I could clearly hear him calling out for SFC Olienyk and seeking aid for all of us located on the roof. The direction from which SGT Quick came was clearly marked by the blood trail and was not his assigned position when we initially occupied the roof and our positions. The blood trail I observed put him in between the grenades and SGT Barr/SGT Rodriguez’s positions.”
That blood trail proves it: SGT Quick deliberately moved TOWARD the grenades to shield his brothers.
