@EricBalchunas@69nich Does gold have one entity who bought 4% of the supply? Who explicitly said they would never sell, started issuing more and more exotic share types in order to keep accruing capital to buy, and then ended up going back on their promise and selling under their cost basis?
@probabilitygod Your trade size in $ terms should be a lot bigger at higher prices though due to the probability of winning. Does that even things out?

But you can still have bubbles in transformative technology where the immediate growth isn't enough to match the investment and build out. The dot com bubble is a perfect example of that
