Really amazing to see the difference when cost sharing was eliminated for the Shingles vaccine in Medicare Part D. More vaccines administered post cost-sharing elimination, possibly indicating that folks were forgoing this important vaccine due to costs.
All the more important that similar bills like the PSA Screening for HIM Act is passed. As prostate cancer continues to be the second leading cause of cancer-related death in men, interventions that make prostate cancer screenings more accessible--like no-cost PSA screening--may help us further continue curbing this disease!
