I tuned and attached the Tram 1450 installed on a new chimney mount - job wasn't difficult at all but the roof was hot lol...got finished and climbing down hot roof hot roof patty cake patty cake lol.
At least I can still do this stuff....
This morning, I'm heading over a block to my pal's house to assist with tuning and installation of a base antenna for GMRS - It's a Tram 1450 just like the antenna I installed here, very happy with it and I'm sure neighbor will like it too.
I've been urging him to install since he did get his license for GMRS so he's going to do a mobile and base installation. I've been telling him about the free entertainment on the Macomb 675 π
Aside from that there are two other good repeaters that don't have issues like Macomb does. Lots of issues. π€‘
@SpiderTrades@MalloryMcMorrow@UAW I don't think our government should be involved or endorsed/captured by unions who's sole focus should be on employee and employer. Save that money for strikes, not political donations.

@SpiderTrades@MalloryMcMorrow@UAW That's greasy hot dirty work, not sure 22 and hour would cut it for me I prefer the air conditioning and reading the schematics, fixing things you can't comprehend yet.
@SpiderTrades@MalloryMcMorrow@UAW So you need a degree to make truck axles? I thought they hired anybody off the street, like McDonald's does. π€·ββοΈ
