๐ I'm sponsoring @msys2org because it's the best system for developing open source software on Windows. It's maintained by a bunch of volunteers who mostly don't get paid, until now. https://t.co/MFOQj77SI7
@jakozloski Wait, you absolutely should consider the risk of death when you get a surgery. If you only point to the happy outcomes that's called survivorship bias. You really make your decisions by ignoring all bad outcomes?
@LaymansTermz@RealDianeYap@Nynemi Diane's philosophy is that it's sad when someone views sex as a requirement in their relationships and life. Implies no one should be gay or straight, they would just date whoever gives them the best romance, with no concern for having sex with them.
@LaymansTermz@RealDianeYap@Nynemi At the start of the conversation, Diane is shaming men for regular straight preferences, and also exaggerating those preferences. She's saying "it's so sad" they are straight. That's a judgment. https://t.co/t9RmDliOPm
"What's the point of a relationship without sex?"
If you value them as a person you would never ask this question. If it were possible for you to understand or feel romance, you would never ask this question.
It's so sad that about 95%+ of men are incapable of romance or of valuing their female partners as full human beings. It's all about sex sex sex.
@LaymansTermz@RealDianeYap@Nynemi Huh? I'm entitled to have whatever criteria I want when I'm dating, and confusing riddles never changed anyone's sexual orientation.
@RealDianeYap@Nynemi OK, so you're asexual. That's fine. Maybe you can find another asexual person to date. But I think you should stop trying to shame men for being straight.
@jakozloski As a single guy, I don't care about who got married in the past, I care about the *current* set of single women and how they behave. They have free will.
@rfleury In a general-purpose program like a compiler, which could take a very large amount of input, how can you ever know that you've reserved enough address space for your heap/arena thing? I feel like you always need to allocate another range if it fills up.
@tsoding Easy. If your code compiled then you could do "*c = any pointer" because *c has type void *. Then you b will point to something that isn't an int and you've shot yourself in the foot. So you need a cast before you can do this.
@rachcorrine@altyeahright1 It doesn't show initiative or confidence, it just shows he doesn't know how to dress himself and needs women's help for things. How did this land him a fiance?
