@PressSec@ABC Sorry, I thought we were talking about the guy who revoked federal agency subscriptions to publications that give serious analysis, replacing them with the New York Post and Breitbart, which are both utterly useless to make informed decisions that impact all Americans.
When courts and politicians—not scientists—get the final say, we all pay the price. My new @thehill op-ed breaks down why the end of Chevron deference puts our food, water, and health at risk. Read it here:https://t.co/lfMZK3jcIN

Started with NOAA Fisheries. Now every agency is in the crosshairs. FDA, EPA, even your local drinking water. If you think the end of Chevron won’t touch you, think again. [https://t.co/lfMZK3jcIN]

For 40 years, agency experts could interpret the laws that keep our food & water safe. That era is over. What’s next for public health in America? My take in @thehill: [https://t.co/lfMZK3jcIN]

The Supreme Court just overturned Chevron deference—a move that strips science agencies like @US_FDA and @EPA from making decisions that keep us safe. Here’s why this matters to anyone who eats, drinks, or breathes: #Chevron#SCOTUS#FDA https://t.co/lfMZK3jcIN
@ecowriterohio I can think of few state-level organizations that have mastered the art of doing the opposite of their name than OEPA. This would make anyone in leadership transitioning to the federal level a perfect fit for the priorities of the Trump Administration.
“Bill Nye said yes. NOAA said nothing.
That missed opportunity wasn’t personal — it was systemic.
Science doesn’t speak for itself. That’s the whole problem.”

#Science doesn’t speak for itself.
That assumption is killing public trust—and dismantling the agencies that keep us safe.

@GallaudetTim Great points made here. Thanks for sharing and thanks @DavidRuck for the writing up this perspective. NOAA keeps things running smoothly in the Great Lakes region — we can’t afford to lose them!
