On behalf of the @SRHRAllianceUg and all implementing partners of the @rhrn_ug programme, I warmly welcome you to this special celebration.
After five years of an incredible journey, we mark the successful close of the RHRN programme.
We are proud to have implemented it seamlessly, staying true to its purpose and achieving the impact we set out to deliver.
We extend our deepest appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and to Rutgers International for their invaluable support and partnership throughout the past five years.

In his opening remarks, David Talima, our Board Chairperson & Executive Director @STFUganda , emphasized the urgent need for change, noting the growing challenges young people face particularly the strong link between SRHR and mental health. With 78% of the population being youth, he stressed the importance of amplifying their voices and called on leaders to go beyond making decisions by sharing experiences, fostering best practices, and committing to actionable solutions at both national and local levels.
Quoting Nelson Mandela, he reminded us: “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” Let this dialogue be a turning point for real change.
