🇺🇸TRUMP SAVES GENIUS ACT - HOUSE FLIPS VOTE AFTER PERSONAL PUSH
The House reversed its rejection of the GENIUS, CLARITY, and Anti-CBDC bills today, passing the rule 215–211 after Trump met with GOP holdouts.
All Democrats voted no, signaling unified opposition that could complicate final passage.
The GENIUS Act sets rules for stablecoins, CLARITY defines crypto agency turf, and the Anti-CBDC bill would block a digital dollar.
Trump and the Senate are aligned - and the full House vote is now imminent.

The biggest thank you of all goes to my mentor and friend @CGasparino, who instilled in me the foundations of old-school journalism and taught me to be fearless and unapologetic both in my reporting and in life.

This is just the beginning.
🚨 HOLY SHIT!!!
PRESIDENT TRUMP SAYS HE’S CONSIDERING GIVING 20% OF ELON MUSK’S DOGE SAVINGS TO AMERICANS AND 20% TO PAYING DOWN DEBT.
THIS IS MASSIVE!!! 🇺🇸
The power of the Fed summed up in a sentence by @LynAldenContact:
“These Federal Reserve decisions affect the monetary conditions for 330 million Americans and billions of people in foreign countries and yet are made manually and subjectively by a group of just twelve people.”
🚨NEW: With #crypto policy now a priority in Washington, I’ve been asking policy folks this week: Are there too many cooks in the kitchen? With the @SECGov crypto task force, @CFTC pilot program, the Presidential Working Group, and a Bicameral Working Group for Digital Assets in Congress, it seemed a fair question.
The overwhelming response?
Surprisingly, there’s a lot of coordination happening. These groups are actually talking to and working with each other.
I learned that @DavidSacks associate @BoHines recently met with the head of the SEC’s crypto task force @HesterPeirce and Acting CFTC Chair @CFTCpham. He also met with industry reps from @BlockchainAssn and @DigitalChamber who are providing input and holding meetings with the crypto task force on everything from regulation to staking within ETFs. Some of those members will attend a CEO forum at the CFTC to discuss tokenized assets and how stablecoins can act as a form of collateral in futures markets. Meanwhile, some former agency staffers have moved over to Congressional roles (and vice versa).
According to @RepFrenchHill and @RepBryanSteil, House members of the Bicameral Working Group for Digital Assets are working “in lockstep” with their Senate counterparts and the Presidential Working Group on crafting legislation.
So, lots of cooks, yes. But for now, not enough to spoil the sauce. 👨🍳👩🍳
The @DOGE team discovered, among other things, that payment approval officers at Treasury were instructed always to approve payments, even to known fraudulent or terrorist groups.
They literally never denied a payment in their entire career.
Not even once.
One of the coolest features of Lace is the PGP encryption of paper wallets. This means I can use pretty much any medium as a backup of my wallet once I have encrypted it.
Allow me to be the first person to use X as a place to store my paper wallet backup.
As long as @MIT has any association with Gary Gensler, @Gemini will not hire any graduates from this school. Not even interns for our summer intern program.
