Logging off for a while. How long? Who knows.
Maybe until my disgust for this platform and its new owner and the ascendent voices he's handing the megaphone to subsides a bit.
Have a great Thanksgiving.
I spent four years covering the Trump WH and two years covering the Biden WH. What’s fascinating is that they both lie, albeit in v different ways. Trump team was shameless, whereas Biden team is too cute by half.
I was laid off from Twitter this afternoon. I was in charge of managing badge access to Twitter offices.
Elon just called me and asked if I could come back to help them regain access to HQ as they shut off all badges and accidentally locked themselves out.
@ehananoki@darth Also, Ben Shapiro needs to invent non-existent beings because actual human beings enjoy having sex for many reasons that have nothing to do with procreation.
@jonfavs@PodSaveAmerica You have to admit, they were really loud about it, though.
It seemed like we heard from every one of those 10, and not a single of the McConnell supporters.
@IChotiner The deftness with which these guys are trying to morph from anti-anti-Trump to anti-Trump is something to behold.
But that was always the benefit of being anti-anti for them: it gave them the cowardly out of plausible deniability, regardless of how hard they cheerled for him.
@lrozen@JuliaDavisNews So we can infer from this that the de facto position of the Putin regime is that it prefers the GOP to the Democrats, even *without* Trump (especially without Trump).
I think that's newsworthy.
@baseballot@Bencjacobs Any ballot measure that seeks to require future ballot measures acquire X% majorities should be required to pass by X% majority itself, no?

@LPDonovan Meanwhile, guys like Mike DeWine and Larry Hogan are just sitting there, being the living incarnation of that Kermit sipping tea meme, wondering when people are going to ask them how the GOP can *possibly* win generals in purple states.
