Kovacic is one of the most talented players to ever play for Chelsea. I actually couldn’t believe what I was watching at times. Completely wasted in a pivot though. Shame.
If there was some option where I could magically redo a player’s career so they fulfilled their full potential, he’d be one of my first choices. As it stands, probably the finest technician (at least in terms of dribbling/ball control) Chelsea have had in midfield, and one of my favorite Chelsea players of the past decade. Some of those years he carried our ball progression so hard, one man press resistance and buildup cheat code, he made it look so simple and easy.
@Statford_Bridge@CannonStats Imo, squad even last season was a 70 points team in a normal season who entered a series of unfortunate events.
I am optimistic this season with no freak events is somewhat between 72-77 points.
A woman who changed her identity following an abusive relationship with an officer says she discovered he used the Flock camera system to search for her location https://t.co/elVCBsexn1
Flock allegedly spotted this Colorado woman's truck around the time and location of a package theft.
What ensued was a Kafkaesque scene in which she insisted it wasn't her, while an officer who came to her door said he had indisputable proof—but refused to show her unless she admitted she stole the package.
"It is her, it is 100 percent, it is locked in, there is zero doubt," he tells her.
But police dropped the case after she provided her cellphone tracking data, camera footage from her truck, and video placing her elsewhere at the time of the theft
From wrongful arrests to officers stalking exes, license plate readers keep exposing police failures: https://t.co/FPyx05m1iZ
Exclusive: A rare bookseller suspected his books were being bought by AI companies. He stuck an AirTag in a book and we tracked it to a secretive Amazon facility in Las Vegas where they scan and destroy books called VGT3:

A leaked document reveals Flock Safety planned to turn roughly 350,000 Uber, Lyft, and delivery vehicles into a mobile network of license plate readers, dramatically expanding its surveillance system beyond fixed cameras.
The Eva Carneiro case is a perfect demonstration of how we've gone backwards as a society. When she got forced out of Chelsea 11 years ago everyone was on the hot physio's side. Now everyone is an incel so they're taking the side of the old man who bullied her out of her job
Joe Rogan knows every conspiracy theory there is to know, but whenever someone tells him a FACT about Trump he pretends to have never heard it.
Fucking weasel
There is a great essay to be written about how American car culture is marketed with a freedom aesthetic while being instrumentalised to create the surveillance state
It's really too bad because we could have built a world where we work a little bit but mostly just hang out and have a good time but instead we got this shithole
🚨 BLACKROCK IS QUIETLY TURNING STREET LIGHTS INTO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS
While everyone was focused on tearing down Flock cameras, a much bigger player was already rolling out the replacement.
Axon, one of the hottest companies in the surveillance market, is now partnering to turn regular street lights into smart cameras.
No new poles needed.
They just convert the lights you already drive under every day into:
• License plate readers
• Live streaming cameras
• AI that recognizes vehicle make, model, color, damage, bumper stickers, and more
Counties are canceling Flock contracts and spending tens of millions on Axon systems instead.
Here’s the part most people don’t know:
About 25% of Axon is owned by BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street. The same firms that have openly talked about “forcing behaviors.”
Axon’s CEO has said their goal is to build a society where crime “just doesn’t make sense anymore” through constant monitoring.
He also made $164 million in a single year.
While people were busy removing Flock cameras, this more advanced, harder-to-detect system was already being installed in plain sight.
Street lights → cameras.
BlackRock ownership.
AI vehicle tracking.
Stealth rollout.
Is this just “public safety”… or the next phase of the surveillance grid?
AI holds immense potential to boost our economic productivity, but if we leave its rollout to a monopolistic cartel of tech giants, the gains will only concentrate in the hands of a tiny elite.
Without bold intervention to protect the labour market, we will be entrenching a new era of corporate rule.
again, the main reason why Phone destroyed society while television, video games, and the internet mostly did not is that you can't take your tv everywhere you go
Just a Flock camera in the middle of a golf course with zero traffic….
This is the Flock Condor Camera. It uses AI to track humans. It can pan, move, even zoom in and follow your every footstep. It specifically tracks humans across an area
When are we going to acknowledge this isn’t about license plate readers. This is about establishing the mass surveillance network in America
Italy's government wants police to take the face of everyone entering a "sensitive" location and hold it for seven days.
Public squares. Stadiums. Stations. Streets during demonstrations.
Not just suspects. Everyone.
