Dendron Chamberlain, Research Technologist in the Hladik lab, recently presented work at the 2nd International Trans Studies Conference! Congratulations, Dendron! #obgyn#research#MedEd#TransStudies#transition#HRT
I am applying to PhDs this cycle! I'm equal parts excited and overwhelmed, but the excitement is winning. I'm going to have to pare back my list of 50 universities though. I found them at the #TERMIS2024 conference and I wish I could apply to all 50. So much cool research!
Many thanks to Dendron Chamberlain, Research Technologist in the Hladik lab, for presenting "Pelvic Organ Prolapse in Parous Transgender, Nonbinary, and Gender-Diverse Individuals" at our OBGYN Research Hour last week! #obgyn#research#MedEd
@vingtofficial@sebapartyka@chlbutterworth@engineers_feed 55N is already less than the force due to gravity of Earth on the block, so even if component forces mattered, and we assume we are looking at a vertical plane on Earth, it wouldn't impact the result here.
@engineers_feed The line is not connected to the block so the 50N force is irrelevant. If the image is of a plane perpendicular to the ground so the block is midair, then the answer is B. If this is an image of a plane parallel to the ground so the block is on the ground, then the answer is C.
@Ash_The_Author Write what you are motivated to write! It doesn't matter if it sells. And if it does end up being something you can pitch, that's just a bonus!
A lot of my favorite media does! I think if there are humans in a world with magic, they're not going to stop inventing things, so combined elements make sense.
My lab has a fun birthday cake tradition, and everyone pretends like it's a surprise for the birthday person, who always plays along. My PI got a cake shaped like a tree section and added matcha to the top to give it this mossy look, and brought berries to go with it!
Someone was nearly murdered on the Seattle light rail earlier this month and I didn't even hear about it until today. What the actual heck. https://t.co/VeQgIXAYkX
I was assigned my very first lab bench today! (Not counting classwork of course.) I got it all nice and disinfected and the shelves dusted. What a lovely way to end my first week on the new job!
