Experiencing from the other side of the fence the past few days whilst my husband is in hospital. No one want s to be in hospital but it’s so difficult if you have dementia thank you to the staff @HHFTnhs for trying to understand from his perspective
Copy this and send it to your MP, show your partner, neighbour, re-Tweet it give it to the shops in the high street to put in the window and display it in GP surgeries and A&E… this is why the NHS is choc-a-bloc
@tommyjessop@BBCPanorama@NHS@sallyephillips@LiamFox @KwasiKwarteng @jowhiley Thank you Tommy for highlighting the issues faced by people with learning disabilities and their families not just in hospitals but in primary care tooThis has been a battle for many years and whilst some areas have improved dramatically we still need improvements
So sad watching @BBCPanorama#Panorama tonight ,so many years fighting for better care for people with a learning disability it’s everyone’s responsibility within the nhs to ensure better care
With the Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Midwifery Officer, Medical Directors and others, I have written to NHS colleagues about the professional responsibility to protect patients from COVID-19. This includes getting vaccinated, as the great majority have.
As the number of people testing positive for Covid-19 continues to rise we've had to temporarily suspend visiting at our Frimley and Wexham Hospitals from 1 Jan 22. We'll work with families with exceptional circumstances - see our website for more info: https://t.co/Tp7RE02q91
