मॉडल युवा ग्राम सभा के राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार समारोह के दौरान एकलव्य मॉडल आवासीय विद्यालय (ईएमआरएस), कोसाम्बुड़ा छत्तीसगढ़ के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा मॉडल युवा ग्राम सभा का एक सजीव और प्रेरक प्रदर्शन प्रस्तुत किया गया। विद्यार्थियों ने निर्वाचित पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों पंचायत अधिकारियों तथा ग्राम समुदाय के सदस्यों की भूमिकाओं को सहजता और आत्मविश्वास के साथ निभाया।

अपनी प्रस्तुति के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों ने गांव के समग्र विकास, स्थानीय आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप योजना निर्माण, विभिन्न सरकारी योजनाओं के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन तथा सामूहिक निर्णय प्रक्रिया जैसे महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर सार्थक और विचारोत्तेजक संवाद किया। उनकी प्रभावशाली संवाद शैली, विषयों की स्पष्ट समझ और सक्रिय सहभागिता ने ग्राम सभा की वास्तविक भावना को जीवंत रूप में प्रस्तुत किया।

इसके साथ ही विद्यार्थियों ने शिक्षा से जुड़ी समस्याओं जैसे अहम मुद्दों को उठाकर गांव में शिक्षा के महत्व को एक नए और सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण के साथ सामने रखा। अपने सशक्त प्रदर्शन के माध्यम से उन्होंने ग्राम समुदाय के सदस्यों की भूमिकाओं को सहजता, संवेदनशीलता और निपुणता के साथ निभाया।

Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh @LalanSingh_1, Union Minister of Panchayati Raj, participated in the Minister-level Policy Dialogue on “Sustainable Operation & Maintenance of Rural Drinking Water Services”, organised by the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation #DDWS, Ministry of Jal Shakti, in New Delhi on 27 January 2026. He emphasised the central role of Gram Panchayats in sustaining rural drinking water services and called for a decisive shift towards robust O&M frameworks. Highlighting #GPDP integration, strengthened #VWSCs, #GramSabha oversight, and transparent digital systems, he also called for addressing O&M priorities during the 16th Finance Commission cycle to ensure reliable services for every rural household.

मॉडल युवा ग्राम सभा का शुभारंभ | Launch of Model Youth Gram Sabha

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (Department of School Education & Literacy) and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, launched the Model Youth Gram Sabha (#MYGS) initiative on 30th October 2025 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.

Conceived by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj and jointly implemented with the partnering Ministries, #MYGS is a first-of-its-kind initiative inspired by the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister to build an empowered and participative Viksit Bharat through vibrant Panchayats.

The launch also witnessed the unveiling of the Training Module on Model Youth Gram Sabha and the MYGS Portal, marking a major step towards connecting young minds with the spirit of grassroots democracy. The initiative emphasizes the Government’s strong commitment to enhancing #Janbhagidari in Gram Sabhas and strengthening Panchayati Raj Institutions (#PRIs) for efficient, transparent, and accountable local self-governance and improved service delivery in rural areas.

During the Launch Event of Model Youth Gram Sabha held at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi, dignitaries launched the Model Youth Gram Sabha (MYGS) Web Portal. The portal serves as an interactive platform that enables beneficieris to efficiently manage Gram Sabha activities.

It facilitates scheduling and rescheduling of Gram Sabhas, enrolling students, assigning roles, uploading agendas and videos, and downloading participation certificates and Sabha proceedings.
