Usually after such rains ,I get scared to sleep because of the number of SOS calls I would receive.

Last night with such heavy rains due to the cloud burst and the flooding I saw,with heavy heart I put phone on ringer mode and slept ,just to wake up to zero SOS call .

The roads are cleaned out too .

Usually I have to wait for Atleast two days for the floods to drain out . But could see motors were deployed immediately by TVK government and work was done whole night.

Trust me ,North Madras is not an easy place to tackle. Thanks @OGPrasanna for your swift co ordination .

One thing , a proper warning could have been in place for such heavy rains with homeless people located to relief centres before the rains . Unfortunately until yesterday night that was not done.

Me and @jterrancef16 asked for it for the last two days.

Another thing,there are a lot of pot holes in the city roads could have been covered before the rains. Unfortunately that was not done .

Would like to see more TVK Ministers on the ground. Just Mr.Aadhav and Mr.Dhamu can’t cut it .

Fortunately no power cuts ,which is very rare . But sometimes power cut in certain areas needed to stop people from electrocution deaths in heavy rains.

Another sad thing was corporation workers working without safety gears . They need gloves and Gum boots .

In the last five years I have been constantly calling out the @chennaicorp for providing Gum boots and other protective gears for workers and they have still not listened.

@CMOTamilnadu please ensure all of this are taken care.
