In 2024, the founder of La Leche League —the largest breastfeeding support group for women — resigned because they were allowing men who wanted to chestfeed into groups.

Their original stated mission is “to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support.”

Today their website states: “Trans men, trans women, and non-binary individuals may choose to breastfeed or chestfeed their babies.”

Breastfeeding groups should be for biological women only, men cannot breastfeed and they certainly can’t chestfeed.
